Lombok Island is an island
in Nusa Tenggara separated by the Lombok Strait and Alas Strait on the west and
east. The main town on the island is Mataram City. Approximately 80% of the
population of this island is the Sasak tribe, that still close to Bali tribe,
but mostly converted to Islam. The rest of the population is Balinese,
Javanese, Chinese, and Arabic.
